A founding shareholder of Ogletree Deakins’ Richmond office and co-chair of the firm’s DEI practice group, Jimmy F. Robinson Jr. handles all aspects of a traditional labor practice, in addition to being an established adviser and advocate for educational institutions.
Robinson has extensive experience representing non-unionized employers in the development of strategies designed to remain non-union by advising them on labor and employee relations. He also regularly handles employment litigation matters before regulatory agencies and state and federal courts.
In addition to his labor practice, Robinson has spent more than 16 years as an adviser/advocate for private and public schools, community colleges and universities. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond, where he teaches employment law and policy and labor law.
