Steven D. Stone’s storied career has been built on 36 years of cultivating respect from clients, unions and even opposing counsel, while leaving “no stone unturned” to achieve optimum results” for his clients, according to his colleagues.
Stone focuses his practice on teachers and school administrators in administrative hearings, before school boards, and in courts across Virginia. Many of his cases have garnered national attention.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.
Stone has served in a variety of local civic associations, chambers of commerce, attorneys’ organizations, educational associations and foundations, and religious organizations. He is currently serving a four-year term on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.
