Effective Aug. 2, 2023, the Sixth District Subcommittee of the Virginia State Bar issued a public reprimand with terms to Robert Edwin Walker Jr. of Mechanicsville for violating professional rules that govern diligence, safe-keeping property and declining or terminating representation.

By order entered Aug. 14, 2023, and effective Aug. 25, 2023, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board revoked Christopher Louis Contreras of Arlington’s license to practice law in the commonwealth based on his affi davit consenting to the revocation. By tendering his consent to revocation at a time when a disciplinary complaint, investigation or proceeding is pending, Contreras acknowledges that the material facts upon which the disciplinary complaint, investigation or proceeding are predicated are true.

Effective Aug. 17, 2023, the Williamsburg/James City County Circuit Court revoked brittani Nata’lita Baldwin of Williamsburg’s license to practice law in the commonwealth for violating professional rules that govern diligence, safekeeping property, declining or terminating representation, bar admission and disciplinary matters and misconduct.
