Woodruff to moderate VBA gubernatorial debate

Broadcast journalist Judy Woodruff will moderate the Virginia Bar Association-sponsored debate between Virginia’s gubernatorial candidates next month, the VBA says.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have the co-anchor of PBS NewsHour – and someone with Judy Woodruff’s experience in political coverage – as our moderator,” VBA President Tom Bagby said in a VBA member bulletin.
The debate between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli will take place at July 20 at The Homestead resort in Hot Springs.
The VBA has invited members to submit questions for possible use in the debate.
