With a thriving practice focused on corporate transactions, civil litigation and employment law, Kellie Budd has extensive experience assisting start-ups as well as small and medium-sized businesses across many industries.
Her litigation includes work for contractors, homeowners in a dispute with their HOA, and employees in sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful discharge and retaliation cases. Budd regularly advises clients in transactions related to acquisitions, mergers and dispositions.
Budd is a past chair of the Fairfax Bar Association’s Judicial Screening Committee and a former president of the Northern Virginia Black Attorney’s Association.
She teaches courses for attorneys and other professionals on drafting contracts and dealing with related business law matters.
