Case description: This was a global settlement for a motor vehicle collision involving a mother and her two children. The mother was operating her vehicle at an intersection and was broadsided by the defendant, with the collision causing her vehicle to roll over several times. The mother and her children had to be extracted from their vehicle, with the mother suffering cervical vertebrae fractures as well as spinal cord compression and concussion. She underwent extensive physical therapy. The plaintiff’s neurosurgeon expert opined that her neck injury was permanent. She returned to work without limitations, and her two children were not seriously injured.
