The plaintiff, a 70-year-old woman, slipped and fell on an apparent spill of undetermined origin while entering a dining room at a country club. The dining room had a dark hardwood flooring that was different than the flooring from where the plaintiff was entering from.

The plaintiff stubbed her toe on a wooden deck while exiting a Joe’s Crab Shack restaurant in Chesapeake on April 28, 2021. She had mostly recovered from ankle surgery at the time of this injury but experienced the immediate recurrence of pain following the incident.

The plaintiff was a 56-year-old woman injured after falling on a wet floor at a local business. The plaintiff alleged that the floor had been mopped at closing time but no wet floor sign was in the area.
