Description of case: Defendant was driving a tow truck on Interstate 95 North and rear-ended the plaintiff’s vehicle. The plaintiff was nearly at a complete stop for traffic ahead. The plaintiff’s vehicle was pushed into the vehicle in front of it before veering off the road and hitting a concrete Jersey wall on the side of the road. The plaintiff was taken to the emergency room by ambulance and received stitches for the lacerations he sustained to the head. The plaintiff was also diagnosed with a neck sprain for which he sought physical therapy for two months.
