VSB Disciplinary Actions: Oct. 24 issue

By order effective Oct. 5, 2022, and entered Oct. 6, 2022, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board suspended Russell Nardy Allen of Richmond’s license to practice law in the commonwealth of Virginia for six months for violating professional rules that govern competence, scope of representation, diligence, communication, bar admission and disciplinary matters and misconduct. This matter came before the board as an agreed disposition pursuant to Part 6, § IV, ¶ 13-6.H of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Virginia.

By order entered Oct. 14, 2022, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board sus- pended Victor Rivera-Nieves of Henrico’s right to seek admission to practice in Virginia and privilege to practice in Virginia for six months effective Feb. 23, 2025, for violating professional rules governing diligence, communication, fees, safekeeping property, and declining or terminating representation. This suspen- sion will run consecutive to a three-year suspension that was effective on Feb. 22, 2022, and was imposed in VSB Docket Nos. 20-032-118029 and 20-032-118068. This was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges, according to the VSB.
