Why I chose my practice area: I worked for the IRS prior to going to law school. Following law school, I was an IRS litigator in District Counsel office.
Most memorable case: Having an offer-in-compromise accepted in a collection due process case; working on a pro bono case during a government shutdown to halt automated levies.
What makes me a leader in my field: I am passionate about helping my clients. I try to find innovative solutions to complex tax issues.
Outlook for 2025: Increased tax controversy matters given turmoil at IRS Increased need for tax planning after OBBBA tax changes. Increased use of AI to do tax research.
