A previously honoree in both Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s “Up and Coming Lawyers” and “Leaders in the Law,” Jonathan D. Puvak is relied upon for his counsel by businesses and governmental entities on matters concerning commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, land use, and matters of corporate governance.
A member of the executive board at Gentry Locke, the College of William and Mary graduate has served as chair for the state bar’s Roanoke Professional Development Conference and the Virginia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division CLE Committee.
Puvak has been a Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce ambassador and served as a barrister Book Buddy for the local bar association. He graduated from Leadership Arlington and chaired his firm’s efforts with United Way of Roanoke Valley. He was also a member of the Urban Land Institute from 2011-2015.
Prior to law school, Puvak worked with NVR Inc., one of the nation’s largest homebuilders.
