L. Scott Seymour has either chaired or co-chaired four different practice groups at Kaufman & Canoles: Business Taxation, Commercial, Mergers Acquisitions & Strategic Alliances and Manufacturing and Distribution. He is also co-chair of the Private Equity Industry Team and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Moreover, Seymour’s  work has spanned a dizzying array of clients including private equity sponsors, companies, physicians, medical practices and investors dealing with everything from capital restructurings to corporate governance.

With a law degree from the University of Richmond and an advanced professional certification in taxation from New York University School of Law, Seymour also represents local government boards, commissions and authorities in governance and transactional matters.
