Case description: Three Florida residents traveling from
Williamsburg after visiting William & Mary were traveling back to Richmond on Route 5 when their vehicle was struck and flipped over by an eastbound vehicle. None of the three plaintiffs initially sought medical care, but did so several days later with health care providers in
Richmond and central Florida.
The matters were initially consolidated for trial. Liability was admitted after discovery. Two of the three case settled and one of the three proceeded to mediation with Judge Pamela S. Baskervill (Ret.) of The McCammon Group. Mediation initially failed but settled some weeks later, following additional negotiations.
