Description of case: On June 27, 2020 the plaintiff, a 21-year-old male, was traveling southbound on Jefferson Davis Highway on his motorcycle. The defendant was proceeding northbound in the left turn lane of Jefferson Davis Highway. Both the plaintiff and defendant had a green traffic signal. The defendant failed to yield the right of way to the plaintiff and entered his path, striking his motorcycle. Plaintiff was medevac’d from the scene to Fairfax Shock Trauma Unit. Prince William County accident reconstruction responded as a potential fatality and interviewed all potential witnesses on scene as to the occurrence of the crash. Plaintiff suffered leg amputation and related life-changing events.
