Why I chose my practice area: When I moved to Fredericksburg, Wesley Marshall taught me how meaningful representing injured workers can be. I founded Joel Young Law PLC in December 2025.
Most memorable case: A defense attorney arranged a substantial advance on a settlement before Commission approval — a testament to mutual respect. It helped my client in crisis avoid losing his home over winter.
What makes me a leader in my field: Presenting at CLEs leads to engaging discussions with practitioners, allowing me to learn from and share insights with colleagues on complex legal issues.
