Why I chose my practice area: I’ve always been competitive and pulled for the underdog. Protecting injured workers lets me level the playing field against large insurance companies with more experience, time, and money.
Most memorable case: Representing a worker crushed by a backhoe. After 4½ years of appeals—losing twice, winning at Court of Appeals — we finally settled. My client had lost everything during that time.
What makes me a leader in my field: Lecturing at seminars for 15+ years and serving as VTLA legislative chair for workers’ compensation.
